The historic Grand Lake Lodge sits on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park with unbeatable views of mountain lakes, the Continental Divide and surrounding scenery. Whether you’re sitting on the solid wood porch swing or enjoying a glass of wine with dinner, the lodge’s beautiful panoramic views remind everyone to slow down and unwind. 

That is why voters selected Grand Lake Lodge as having the Best Patio in the 2024 Best of Grand contest. 

Visitors don’t have to book a stay at the lodge to enjoy the patio views or eat at the Huntington House Tavern at the lodge, which features wide bay windows and a sunny deck for patrons to enjoy their drinks and food. However, the views are so good you might want to stick around, and Grand Lake Lodge has a selection of cabins that guests can stay in for respite. 

Over the summer, the lodge hosts live music for guests and locals to enjoy tunes on the patio. 

Ana Bernardino is in her first year working as the general manager at Grand Lake Lodge. Bernardino is one of the many individuals who loves the patio and its views.

“All of us here at Grand Lake Lodge love our porch, of course, but it is always an honor and a privilege that others share that love, too,” Bernardino said. “We really appreciate the opportunity to be a (winner) in this category, and we want to express our gratitude to the Grand County community and everyone that took time to vote.”
