ElektraFi, a new internet provider serving Grand County, completes network upgrades
ElektraFi, a wireless internet provider serving rural America, has completed integrating Zirkel Wireless and Grand County Internet into its operations following the acquisition July 1, 2024, according to a news release.
The integrations were finalized in March, and the milestone will enhance internet speed and reliability for Grand County residents and businesses, according to the release.
ElektraFi CEO Ryan Jenkins said the company is able to use the foundation created by Zirkel Wireless and Grand County Internet to allow for faster streaming and download speed, increased coverage throughout the county, enhanced reliability and streamlined support for assistance. Zirkel Wireless and Grand County Internet customers have transitioned to ElektraFi.
The company has plans for additional investments in the Grand County network, including coverage expansion, according to the release.
