Free smoke alarm installation available
The American Red Cross is offering free smoke alarms as part of its Sound the Alarm program.
The nonprofits states that “home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half.”
As part of the program, volunteers will also install the alarms. Those who are interested in the program can call 833-498-2092 to make an appointment.
