Internet outage disrupts Grand County residents

UPDATE, 5:45 p.m.: The estimated time of restoration for customers has been updated to 8:45 p.m., according to the outage map.

Scheduled maintenance by Comcast is causing internet and cell phone connectivity issues in Grand County.

There are anywhere from 501-2,000 affected customers in the area, according to an Xfinity map. The first outages were reported around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and the estimated time of restoration is 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, according to the map.



The Grand County Sheriff’s Office is not aware of any impacts to emergency services at this time.

Representatives from Comcast, which owns Xfinity, said they apologize for the inconvenience.
