The Middle Park High School boys basketball team is celebrating after its latest win against the Manitou Springs Mustangs on Dec. 14. The Panthers secured a 67-42 victory.

The high school sports website MaxPreps writes that the Panthers’ win was thanks to player Weston Wiedel. He earned 18 points and five steals in the game.

“He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he’s now grabbed two or more in the last four games he’s played,” MaxPreps writes.

The Panthers’ next game is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Lake County High School.

“Middle Park has been performing well recently as they’ve won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season,” MaxPreps writes.
