The Granby Recreation Department has some upcoming sports and creative classes to help you stay active this spring.
High Altitude Volleyball Tournament
Join the adult co-ed volleyball tournament inside the Granby Soccer Dome. The tournament will be held from 7-10 p.m. April 8 and 15. There will be an open gym for all teams from 7-9 p.m. April 1. The cost is $150 per team, and the registration deadline is April 1.
Watercolor art
Join Kathi Manville for watercolor classes for adults and kids. The next kid’s class will be held from 10 a.m. to noon April 4. The class will create an Easter gnome piece, and the fee is $35. The next adult class will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. April 24. The class will make spring tulips, and the fee is $40. Classes are held at the Granby Community Building and include materials. Registration is required.
Adult indoor soccer league
Co-ed games will be held at the Granby Soccer Dome on Thursday nights from April 10 until May. League teams consist of six field players and a goalie, with at least two females on the field at all times. Players must be 16 and older. The cost is $400 per team. Registration is required by April 4.
There will also be a drop-in soccer night from 7:30-9:30 p.m. April 3 for those looking for a team or for team practice. The cost for the drop-in night is $5 per person.
