Tin Cup Tavern closes amid death investigation, gives up liquor license

Tin Cup Tavern in Fraser has surrendered its liquor license and closed.

The tavern voluntarily presented an affidavit for surrender of local liquor license and an affidavit for surrender of state local liquor license Jan. 13, 2025, according to the town of Fraser’s records.

This surrender of liquor licenses means that the tavern can no longer sell alcoholic beverages unless it reapplies and obtains a license.



Tin Cup Tavern was the last place Winter Park Resort seasonal worker Justan Lovvorn was seen prior to his death Dec. 3, 2024. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
