UPDATE: U.S. Highway 40 reopens following two-car rollover in Clear Creek County

Update: Colorado State Patrol troopers cleared the scene at 6:01 p.m. and no injuries were reported.
U.S. Highway 40 near Empire in Clear Creek County has been closed in both directions due to a two-vehicle rollover on Thursday, Feb. 27, according to the Colorado State Patrol’s Public Affairs Office.
Colorado State Patrol received a call at 4:21 p.m. about the accident near milepost 243. Gabriel Moltrer with the public affairs office said that there is no information on whether any injuries resulted from the crash yet.
